RULES ACCEPTANCE

By enrolling, the Contestant ("You") agrees to be totally unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements.
Furthermore, you agree to accept (Star Kiddies) and other contest Sponsors' decisions as final and binding in all matters relating to the content of this Campaign.

CAUTION

ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE COMPETITION INSTAGRAM/WEBSITE OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE COMPETITION'S LEGITIMATE OPERATION COULD BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, THE ORGANIZATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

THE ORGANIZATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY CONTESTANT WHO VIOLATES THESE RULES AND/OR FAILS TO BEHAVE PROPERLY FROM THE COMPETITION AND TO DISQUALIFY SUCH WINNER. At all times while participating in the Competition, Contestants [if applicable: and Guests] must act correctly and follow the Competition Rules as well as any other rules or regulations in effect at the various stages including the FINAL STAGE.

CONTEST PERIOD

Registration And Stage One voting Starts Immediately. The Whole contest lasts 3 weeks

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• This competition is completely free to enter. There is no cost or payment to enter.
• To participate in the competition, participants must meet the requirements listed above.
• For registration, participants must upload and submit a photograph of their child to the website or send it to WhatsApp.
• Entrants are recommended to read the Competition's terms and conditions, which may be found on the online entry page.
• By submitting submissions, entrants agree to be bound by all of the Competition's terms and conditions. Any inaccurate information or misrepresentation will invalidate the entry.
• To ensure legitimacy, the entrant's entry must be made during the specified registration period.
• All entries received after the deadline will be invalid.
• The Organization reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and Entrants at any time (including, but not limited to, the Entrant's identity and place of residence) and to invalidate any entries that do not comply with the Terms and Conditions or tamper with the claims process. The failure of the Organization to carry out any of its rights at any point does not constitute a waiver of such rights.
• By entering this competition, the Entrant grants the Organization permission to use the photographs or details/data in any media for promotional/marketing reasons for one (1) year without compensation to the Entrant.

Winner Selection

• A three-stage voting process will be used to choose the final winner.
• The Star Kiddies Contest will be voted on online, with each vote costing Gh₵ 2
• All voting will take place on the website or through any available payment method.
• The Judge's judgment will be final and based on the most votes.
• The winners will be chosen as follows:
  • Round 1: To advance to the second stage, all participants must gain 100 votes and more at a rate of Gh₵ 2 each vote.
  • When the first stage is completed, all participants who received the required number of votes (100 and more) will advance to stage 2 when the timer runs out.
  • Stage 2: To advance to the final stage, participants must collect 600 votes and more at a rate of Gh₵ 2 each vote.
  • When the timer runs out, the top 10 contestants with the most votes advance to stage 3.
  • Depending on the results of the voting, our organization may opt to award random contestants at this stage.
  • Only the Top 10 will advance to the next stage.
  • Stage 3: This is the final stage, in which the contestants must collect over 1000 votes at a rate of Gh₵ 2 each vote.
  • After the final stage, the top ten children will be announced as the winners.
  • The first, second, and third place winners will get the first, second, and third awards, respectively, while the remaining top seven candidates will receive consolation prizes..
  • The prizes for our consolation prize is 20% of total votes cast.
  • The judge's ruling, based on the votes cast, will be final, and there will be no further correspondence.
  • The winner must correctly fulfill the conditions to comply with the Competition Rules before being named the winner.
  • NO LATER THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE GRAND FINALE, EACH SELECTED ENTRANT WILL BE NOTIFIED BY TELEPHONE/EMAIL.
  • NOTE: Entrants' family, friends, and fans can vote for their favorite Kid by clicking on the Vote button next to the Kid's picture, which costs N50 NGN. Entrants are also allowed to vote for themselves as many times as they wish on the website.
  • During the voting round, voters can vote for a Kid as many times as they like.
  • Our leaderboard will display the person with the fewest votes at the top, indicating who is in the lead (votes).
  • The Organization maintains the right, but not the responsibility, to check, filter, and/or monitor information submitted by entrants and to remove it if necessary.

GENERAL

• The Organization will not be held liable for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines, or failure of any email or entry to be received due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines, or failure of any email or entry to be received due.
• The Organization shall not be held liable for any copyrighted material, which has been uploaded by an entrant during the competition. All entrants must upload pictures or videos of which they either own the copyright or have obtained permission from the original copyright owner.
• The Organization has the right to modify or terminate the competition without notice. In the event of such change or termination, by participating in the competition, Entrants have agreed to relinquish their rights in respect to the competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organization.
• The Organization has the right to use footage and pictures from the competition’s activations including the images and personal details provided by the Entrant on any of its adverting materials (during and after the competition) without prior notice or consent of the Entrant and payment of any modeling fee.
• The Organization will add the personal information provided by the Entrants to its database and provide personal data to the third parties it engages for promotion and activation projects.
• Voting costs Gh₵ 2 (Two Ghanaian Cedi) and is done on the website using the various available payment portals.
• The Organization has the right to delete any information uploaded by an Entrant, which is believed to be illegal, obscene, offensive, or defamatory, or is otherwise inappropriate for a competition that is meant to portray the amazing and amusing things about kids.
• The Organization has the right to use the images taken of the winner for publicity purposes in any manner it deems fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winner.
• The Organization, its associated companies, directors, and employees, shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the Entrant.
• The decision of the panel of Judges during the various stages and grand finale phase is based on Votes acquired and is FINAL and no correspondence will be entered into.

HELPLINE WINDOW

• Monday through Saturday, we work from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• (During this time, votes can only be added and confirmed.)
• (Our Helpline agent is only available during this time period.)

NO REFUNDS POLICY!!

• We do not issue refunds for votes cast during the contest's run.

PRIZES

• The Grand Award for the Starkiddies Contest is a cash prize of Gh₵ 40,000
• The first and second place finishers will get Gh₵ 30,000 and Gh₵ 30,000 in cash, respectively, as well as consolation prizes.
• After the final stage, the top 10 children will be announced as the Contest winners.
• The first, second, and third place winners will get the first, second, and third awards, respectively, while the remaining top seven candidates will receive consolation prizes.
• The panel of Judges' judgment is FINAL (based solely on votes), and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Any prize that is not claimed within 10 days of being notified will be forfeited, and no correspondence will be entered into. For the avoidance of ambiguity, "formal notification" refers to email and phone correspondence sent to the recipient's contact information.
• The winners bear the risk and expense of using the prizes provided to them. The Organization cannot be held accountable for the usage of rewards by the winners.
• The Organization has the right to substitute awards of comparable value if the prize is not available despite reasonable efforts to procure it.
• Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of and adherence to the competition's Terms and Conditions as well as the Competition Entries.
• Only the Top 10 contestants based on votes, as well as the winners in the Special Categories, will be considered for any prizes.
• Within 10 to 15 working days, all rewards will be processed.

CONDUCT

• By participating in the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Competition Rules, which will be posted on Our Starkiddies.com website/ Instagram page and made available throughout the Contest Period.
• Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Organization, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Organization reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be:
  1. Violating the Competition Rules;
  2. Tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the smooth operation of the Competition
  3. Violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines, property or service; and/or
  4. Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  5. The Organization reserves the right to remove from the Competition, any Winner who breaks such rules and/or fails to behave appropriately and to disqualify such Winner.

  TERMINATION

• Organization reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate the Competition, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Competition, and/or the Competition Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

GOVERNING LAW

• The competition is governed by the laws of Ghana And Nigeria's Federal Republic.
• To comply with any applicable legislation, the Competition Rules are subject to change without notice. The laws of the Federal Republic of Ghana shall govern and construe all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Competition Rules, as well as the rights and obligations of the entrant and the Organization in connection with the Competition.
